this is the process of our artwork production

visiting Said Ceviz

We decided to talk to people who know a lot of oriental carpets in order of research.

Said Ceviz sells Carpets, Kelims and Textile Art in his Shop at Pfarrplatz in Linz. When we visited him he was keen on our project and gave us a lot of information. Mostly about Nomads and their carpet production. He showed us different Nomad tribes and their routes. A lot of carpets he sells are made by half nomads.

Mr. Ceviz told us that these symbols are the emblems of different Nomad tribes.

We borrowed some books to get more information about Nomad carpets.
